Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) is a tertiary education provider situated in the Nelson and Marlborough regions of New Zealand. NMIT offers various courses across various fields and a broad range of study areas, including business, arts and media, civil engineering, culinary arts, information technology, nursing, marine science, and viticulture and winemaking.
With over 100 courses available, ranging from undergraduate certificates to master's qualifications, students have many options to pursue their academic interests. The institution typically enrols around 3,000 students annually, with approximately 10% of the student body comprising international students.

Please note that all accommodation is independent of NMIT, and students must book and secure accommodation for themselves.
Students studying at NMIT’s main campus in Nelson may consider Nikau Apartments, located right beside the campus. These serviced apartments are ideal for independent living alongside other students in a secure, modern, and study-friendly environment.
Homestay is another popular choice for international students and is available for students studying at any of NMIT’s campuses.
